// about my blog

This lifestyle blog documents my adventures as a student affairs professional trying to maintain wellness & happiness among the occasional chaos of life.  I am passionate about taking the time to appreciate the wonders of our every day lives.

// about the name, Milagros Moments

“Milagros” is Spanish for “miracle” – a wonder, a marvel.  Milagros is my middle name.  I love the meaning behind the word because I strive to appreciate everyday wonders but, most importantly, I adore the family ties the name represents because my mother and my sister share the name as well.  All in all, it seemed a natural fit for the name of my blog.

A few of which are pictured above!  Whether you are a friend, student, colleague, husband (hi, Adam!) or a fellow blogger, thank you for stopping by.  This blog was primarily created for myself, but I have been pleasantly surprised to see the way my readers have engaged in dialogue, shared resources, and supported each other in their own journeys to wellness.  The growing community via Milagros Moments has been the most rewarding part of this experience and keeps me blogging.  Thank you for your support!

      Yes, there is! My sister and I have been thinking about getting “Milagros” sister tattoos for the longest time. One day 🙂 Always happy to link up, Kiki!

    I love your name – Milagros! and I love that you share it with your Mom and sister.

    My husband and I went to Puerto Rico for our honeymoon and we really liked it there. It’s really pretty!
